1. Acceptance of General Terms and Conditions
By accessing this website and booking a shamanic retreat, you unconditionally accept these General Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Freeyourmind organizes shamanic retreats, ceremonies, workshops, and wellness stays in a natural setting that respects local traditions. Our services include accommodation, meals, guided activities, and spiritual guidance, depending on the chosen program.
3. Bookings and Payments
Booking: All bookings must be made through our website or by direct contact. You will receive written confirmation.
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at the center.
Payment methods: Credit card or PayPal
Cancellation:
Cancellation more than 1 week before the retreat: refund of the deposit, less a 20% administrative fee.
Cancellation less than 1 week before: no refund, except in cases of force majeure (upon presentation of supporting documents).
4. Responsibilities and Limitations
Participant responsibility: Each participant is responsible for their physical and mental health. Shamanic retreats can involve intense experiences. It is advisable to consult a healthcare professional before participating.
Disclaimer of liability: Freeyourmind declines all responsibility for any accident, injury, health problem, or material or moral damage occurring during or after the retreat, except in cases of proven negligence on our part.
Insurance: Participants are strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance covering spiritual activities and medical care.
5. Health and Contraindications
Shamanic retreats are not suitable for individuals with psychiatric disorders, heart conditions, pregnant women, or those undergoing intensive medical treatment.
The consumption of sacred plants (such as ayahuasca) is subject to strict guidelines and should only be undertaken under the supervision of our experienced guides.
All participants must inform the team of their medical history before the retreat.
6. Confidentiality and Respect
Confidentiality: The experiences shared during the ceremonies remain confidential between participants and guides.
Respect: Any disrespectful, violent, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate exclusion from the retreat without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All website content (text, images, videos) is protected by copyright. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any major changes before they take effect.
9. Applicable Law and Disputes
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Brazilian law.
Any dispute will first be submitted to mediation. If no agreement is reached, the courts of Natal will have jurisdiction.
